Terms & cancellation policy
The terms on which we provide home podiatry appointments.
Draft notice: these terms are a working draft and must be reviewed and approved by the business owner before public launch.
1. Who we are
The Yorkshire Mobile Podiatrist provides private mobile podiatry home visits across South and West Yorkshire, delivered by an HCPC-registered podiatrist.
2. Booking & arrangements
Appointments are arranged manually following your enquiry. There is no live online calendar. Appointments are arranged by route and postcode availability. If we are not currently visiting your postcode, we will let you know.
3. Prices
- Initial appointment: from £60.
- Routine appointment: from £40.
- Same-address couple appointments: £37 per person.
- Care-home block visit: from £30 per resident.
- No travel supplements at launch.
4. Payment
Payment is due at the appointment. We accept cash and card via a mobile card reader. A receipt is available on request.
5. Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as early as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice require upfront payment before the next appointment can be rebooked. This protects the time we set aside for your visit and keeps pricing fair for all clients.
6. Clinical suitability & scope of care
We provide routine and assessed home podiatry care. Clinical suitability may be assessed before treatment is provided, including on the day of the first visit. Where a treatment isn't appropriate at home, or isn't safe to provide in the home setting, we will explain why and help you understand your options.
7. Advanced treatments
Some advanced treatments may only be available following assessment, depending on clinical need, suitability and whether the treatment can be safely provided in the home setting. Advanced treatments are not guaranteed and may be declined on clinical grounds.
8. Urgent symptoms
Our service is not an emergency service. If you have a new wound, spreading redness, swelling, discharge, fever, severe pain, blackened skin, or a hot swollen foot, please seek urgent medical advice. You are still welcome to contact us for guidance, but some symptoms may need urgent NHS or GP-led care.
9. Care-home visits
For care homes, treatment notes are fed back to the home after every visit. Residents who object to treatment will not be treated; consent leads every visit. Care-home pricing starts from £30 per resident on a block visit.
10. Your information
Personal information is handled in line with our privacy policy.
11. Updates
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
