Are you HCPC registered?

Yes. Every appointment is carried out by an HCPC-registered podiatrist. We are the regulated profession, not generic nail cutters or foot carers.

Do you visit my area?

We're based in Pontefract and cover South and West Yorkshire — including Castleford, Wakefield, Normanton, Hemsworth, Doncaster, Barnsley, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Bradford and many surrounding towns. Appointments are arranged by route and postcode availability — if you're nearby, please ask.

Question 3

How much does a home visit cost?

Initial appointments are from £60. Routine appointments are from £40. Same-address couples are £37 per person. Care-home rounds are from £30 per resident. There are no travel supplements at launch.

Can I book for my parent?

Accepted Answer

Yes — many of our appointments are arranged by adult children for a parent. You can book on their behalf and, with their consent, we can give you a short update after each visit.

Do you offer diabetic foot checks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide calm, factual diabetic foot checks at home — covering skin, nails, sensation, circulation, footwear and practical advice. Routine diabetic foot checks can support monitoring and advice, but they do not replace urgent medical care where symptoms need prompt attention, and they complement rather than replace NHS diabetic foot screening.

What if I have a wound or urgent problem?

If you have a new wound, spreading redness, swelling, discharge, fever, severe pain, blackened skin, or a hot swollen foot, please seek urgent medical advice. You are still welcome to contact us for guidance, but some symptoms may need urgent NHS or GP-led care.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken at the appointment. We accept cash and card via a mobile card reader. A receipt is available on request.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please let us know as soon as you can. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice require upfront payment before the next appointment can be rebooked.

Question 9

Do you visit care homes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer scheduled podiatry rounds for care homes — usually every 8–10 weeks, tailored to your home after discussion. All visits are fed back to the care home for their records. Residents who object to treatment will not be treated.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Accepted Answer

Yes, subject to route availability. Evenings and weekends help working families and busy carers — just ask when you enquire.
