• A brief description of the enquiry (e.g. routine foot care, thick toenails, diabetic check).
• Whether the patient is diabetic, if you choose to tell us.
• Your preferred way of being contacted.

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange appropriate next steps.
• To plan home-visit routes and appointment scheduling.
• To handle follow-up questions and rebookings.
• To meet reasonable business, legal and insurance requirements.

We process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and (where you become a patient) the provision of healthcare.

5. Health-related enquiry information

The enquiry form is deliberately minimal. We ask you not to include detailed medical history. The small amount of health information we do collect (for example whether the patient is diabetic, or a short description of the foot concern) is handled with care and only used to plan a safe and appropriate appointment.

6. How enquiries are used

Enquiry details are reviewed by the practitioner and used to call or message you back, agree a suitable appointment, and to keep a short administrative record of the contact.

7. Who has access

Enquiry information is accessed only by the practitioner and any person directly assisting with bookings or administration for The Yorkshire Mobile Podiatrist. We use trusted third-party providers to run this website, host data securely, and send email and WhatsApp messages. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

8. How long we keep enquiry data

Website enquiry data is kept only for as long as needed to respond to the enquiry, manage appointment administration, handle follow-up questions and meet reasonable business, legal or insurance requirements. Clinical treatment records are managed separately in line with professional and legal obligations.

9. Clinical records

If you become a patient, clinical treatment records are managed separately from website enquiries. They are kept securely and retained in line with professional guidance for healthcare records. This privacy policy covers website enquiries; clinical record handling is governed by the practitioner's professional obligations.

10. Email and WhatsApp communication

We reply to enquiries by the method you choose (WhatsApp, phone or email). WhatsApp messages are delivered using Meta's WhatsApp service and are subject to their own terms. Email is delivered using standard email providers. Please avoid sending detailed medical information by these channels; if more detail is needed, we will arrange a suitable way to discuss it.

11. Analytics and cookies

By default this site uses essential cookies only. If we introduce analytics in future (for example Google Analytics 4), they will not load until you accept analytics cookies in the cookie notice. We do not use Meta Pixel or session-replay tools such as Hotjar.

12. Your rights — deletion, correction and access

You have the right to access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email info@theyorkshiremobilepodiatrist.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
